Why did a famous and well-loved hot dog brand just opened its very first branch here in the Philippines? Well, according to Richard Pink, son of Paul and Betty Pink who opened the first Pink’s, they have received a lot of offers from several countries, but it was Walter Manzke who made them decide to open up Pink’s Hot Dog in Manila. They wanted someone who can recreate the same quality since importing is not an option, and Walter was the one they were looking for.

Pink’s Manila branch’s interior is inspired by the first Pink’s in Hollywood. It is a restaurant, designed to look like a food stall. On one side, a Kombi is parked and made to look like an ice cream truck, where you can find the Celebrity Wall of Fame, like Martha Stewart, Jimmy Fallon, and even Michelle Obama are displayed.
